MK Beyond is about what i do beyond working hours, exploring the connection between the virtual and the real. With a background in game development and a curiosity for what technology can do, the goal is to create experiences that feel real, meaningful, and just a little unexpected.

Wonderkasten

Wonderkasten is an interactive forest installation for festivals. Picture colorful interactive cabinets hanging in the trees, with digital butterflies fluttering from one to the next. Festival-goers draw the butterflies themselves, then scan them, and they take flight! The scanned drawings are captured by a webcam and UV mapped to digital characters, butterflies in the current iteration.

Sol.AR

Sol.AR is an immersive augmented reality experience that turns your space into a launchpad to the stars. Walk through Saturn’s rings, witness Jupiter’s massive storms up close, or visit the Mars rovers in full scale. Even float around the ISS, all from your phone. Powered by ARCore, Sol.AR maps your room and anchors the cosmos around you. No headset, no wires, just you and the universe.
